Its been a long dream of mine to go up there to fish for those barn doors you guys get

Artie I’ve been fishing the American from Folsom damn to Discovery Park for 37 years and have not seen a six pound shad in over twenty years but i know where your talking about cause i’m a regular there
A “tip of the hat” to ya. Those are pretty hard numbers to top…especially in California. Now if you’d care to come up here to Alaska it might surprise you to discover we can’t even keep a Steelhead unless it is a minimum of 36 inches long. And I guess you already know where the biggest salmon are in North America. Up here, we target catching those 70, 80, and 90+ pounders. ;o) (And did you know we fish for no less than five different species of ‘em?)
